Justice for Palestine and Ending Forever Wars

Every person deserves to live in safety and dignity, no matter where they are born. Senator Salim stands in solidarity with the Palestinian people in their pursuit of freedom, safety, and self-determination. He continues to speak out against the occupation of Palestinian land, settlement expansion in the West Bank, and all practices that deny Palestinians their basic human rights. The devastation, fueled by weapons and funding from the United States and enabled by the Israeli government’s action, must come to an end.

What we are witnessing in Gaza is a genocide as has been declared by the United Nations and International Association of Genocide Scholars.

That's why Senator Salim will support the Block the Bombs Act, because American tax dollars should never fund violence or military actions that break U.S. law or violate human rights.

Senator Salim has been vocally opposed to American military involvement, and believes that what is unfolding in Iran is a historic foreign policy disaster.

We must end the illegal forever wars and redirect those resources toward addressing urgent needs here at home—investing in housing, healthcare, and education for American families. Senator Salim stands firm in his conviction that U.S. leadership should always reflect our highest values: peace, human rights, and compassion for all people.

He supports an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and Iran, and has remained steadfast in his call for de-escalation and diplomacy, refusing to turn away from the urgency of this moment or silence his voice in the face of injustice. His advocacy reflects a core belief that peace is built not through domination, but through dialogue, accountability, and a shared respect for human life.
